By creating an account or using WealthPath ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the app.
Description of Service
WealthPath is a personal finance dashboard that helps you track net worth, manage budgets, monitor investments, organize tax documents, and view financial insights. The service includes optional integration with third-party providers such as Plaid to retrieve financial data from your linked accounts, and AI-assisted features that provide general financial observations and categorization.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use WealthPath. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You may not share your account credentials or use another person's account without permission.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, or federal law
- Attempt to access data belonging to another user or circumvent the app's access controls
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or its security features
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or overload the service
Financial Data & Third-Party Services
When you link a financial account through Plaid, you authorize Plaid to share your data with WealthPath. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding Plaid's terms and your financial institution's terms before linking an account. We store access tokens in encrypted form and never store your banking login credentials. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
Not Financial Advice
WealthPath provides tools for tracking and visualizing your financial information. The insights, categorizations, and AI-generated content offered by the service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. We are not responsible for any actions you take based on information provided by the service.
Premium Subscriptions
Certain features are available only with a paid Premium subscription. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis through our payment provider. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.
Intellectual Property
The service, its design, features, and content are owned by WealthPath and protected by intellectual property laws. Any content you upload — such as photos of collectibles or tax documents — remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process and display your content solely to provide the service to you.
Service Availability
We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data delays, or inaccuracies resulting from third-party providers such as Plaid or market data feeds.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WealthPath and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses, investment decisions, or data inaccuracies. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we believe your activity poses a risk to the service or other users.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
